If I order more than one item, do you combine shipping?
Yes, we ship one item or 9 items for the same shipping/handling fee. If you order 10 or more items, we do increase the shipping/handling fee, but once your order 10 or more items we offer volume discount pricing for your purchase. See the question below regarding our volume discount pricing for more information.

Do you ship Internationally? And how much does it cost?
Yes we do ship our items Internationally, via AirMail. International shipments cost $3.50 for up to 9 items, and $7.50 for 10+ items. You may place your order using our website.

How long will it take to get my order?
Orders typically ship out within 1 - 3 business days of receiving your order. All orders ship from California. Delivery within the US is typically 3 - 7 days, depending on where you are in relation to California. International delivery is typically 2 - 3 weeks.

How long will it take to get my order, if one of my items is on backorder?
Typically we will ship all items, except the backordered item immediately. Backordered items are shipped as soon as they are available, typically in 2 -3 weeks.

Can I track my shipment?
We are committed to keeping our shipping/handling costs as low as possible, therefore orders are not sent with a tracking number. Occasionally a shipment will get "lost in the mail" in which case we will resend the package.

Can I pay extra for quicker delivery?
All of our shipping is done through the United States Postal Service, and we do not ordinarily offer expedited shipping. If you have an urgent need for a quicker shipping option, please email us at with your request, and we will respond with the options we can offer.

Do you have a 1-800 number I can call?
You may contact us at 1-866-379-0943. We are available Monday - Friday from 10 am to 7 pm EST.

How do the sizes work?
We do provide the measurements for all our wristbands, and we always recommend that you measure your wrist to make sure you are ordering the best fit. In general though, here are some fit guidelines:
Small - Young children (4 - 6 years old), or anyone with very small wrists. We have seen adult women who needed the small size!
Medium - Older children, teens, and small - medium framed adults. The medium is the most common size. It fits larger children, youth and even a lot of adults who have small to medium-sized wrists.
Large - Teens and Adults with average to larger size wrists.
Again, these are guidelines based on our experience, if in doubt - please measure!

How do I make an exchange or a return?
Customer service is very important to us. If you need to exchange or return an item, and provided the item is unworn in "as new" condition, please send the items to:

Please include a note telling our shipping department if you want a refund for the items, or in the case of an exchange, what items to send in exchange for the items you are returning. Once we receive your return, we will process your refund, or send the new items. In the case of a requested exchange, we ask that you include an additional $2.50 to cover the shipping/handling of the new wristbands requested for the exchange. If the exchange is required due to an error on our part ie. we shipped the wrong size, including the additional fee for s/h is not necessary.

Do you have promotional materials you can send me?
Yes, we do have a variety of promotional materials. These are especially popular with Doctors, Clinics, Educators, and Hospitals. We can send business cards, postcards or 8 x 11 posters. Please email us at to request a sampling of our materials.

Do you have a catalog that you can send me?
Currently we do not offer a catalog . We hope to have one available in the future.

I don't see my condition in your list. Can you take special orders for conditions not listed on your site?
Yes, we can create custom wristbands. The customer chooses the text, and color of the wristbands. If you are interested in more details including pricing, colors, etc. please email us at Custom orders typically take between 2 - 3 weeks for delivery.

Do you offer discounts for large orders?
Yes, we love to give our customers a deal when they order 10 or more items. We have a pricing scale, the more you order, the lower the prices. If you are interested in purchasing 10 or more items, please email us at so that we can provide the appropriate pricing for your purchase.

Will emergency personnel recognize a CoolMedID wristband as a Medical ID?
If you are wearing our CoolMedID wristbands, be sure that it is the only wristband you are wearing. A CoolMedID wristband is not effective if it is one of numerous wristbands on your wrist.

We recommend wearing your CoolMedID on your left wrist.

While we cannot make any guarantees, the Brady Emergency Care - 7th Edition which is used for formal EMT-Basic education, states the following regarding Medical Id Devices (page 212). "When doing the physical exam, look for necklaces and bracelets or wallet cards. Never assume you know the form of every medical identification device. Check any necklace or bracelet carefully, taking care when moving the patient or any of his extremities."
